Ozzle is a daily cybersecurity puzzle. This notice explains the main technologies used when you visit ozzle.app.

Game data stored on your device

Ozzle may use browser storage and cookies to remember puzzle progress, streaks, achievements, preferences, and daily attempt state. Some security-related game state may be stored in an HttpOnly cookie so it cannot be edited directly by page scripts.

Anonymous product analytics

Ozzle may record anonymous gameplay and product metrics such as puzzle starts, completion outcomes, guess position, help usage, sharing, install actions, and notification opt-ins. Ozzle uses a randomly generated browser identifier to distinguish approximate new and returning players. The Ozzle analytics database does not intentionally store your name, email address, raw IP address, or raw browser user-agent string.

Advertising

Ozzle uses Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or similar technologies to serve, personalize, measure, and protect advertising.

• Google and its partners may serve ads based on visits to Ozzle and/or other sites.
• You can manage or opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings.

Notifications

If you enable puzzle alerts, your browser or operating system may store notification preferences and may display notifications for new Ozzle puzzles. You can revoke notification permission at any time through your browser or device settings.

Server requests

Like most websites, requests to Ozzle's hosting infrastructure may include technical information such as IP address, browser type, request time, and requested URL for delivery, reliability, security, and abuse prevention.

Consent and regional privacy controls

Where required, Ozzle may use a consent management platform to collect advertising and privacy choices before eligible personalized advertising is served.

This notice may be updated as Ozzle adds or changes services. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
